We know childhood moves quickly, and summer has a special kind of magic that deserves to be protected. Our goal is to create the kind of days children talk about long after summer ends — the messy experiments, the giant forts, the water play with friends, the stories they created, the challenges they solved, and the moments that made them feel proud, capable, connected, and joyful.

Our Montessori summer camp is intentionally designed for children who are curious, creative, active, thoughtful, and eager to explore the world through hands-on experiences rather than screens and worksheets.
This is not a traditional camp filled with overstimulation, endless transitions, or busy work. We create meaningful days where children build, experiment, move, create, collaborate, and truly belong.

Every week is centered around a carefully designed theme rooted in curiosity, problem-solving, creativity, science, engineering, storytelling, nature, movement, and big ideas.
Our themes are intentionally crafted to challenge children to think deeply while still allowing camp to feel playful, relaxed, and exciting.
Some of our camp themes include:
-
Inventors & Builders
-
Nature Explorers
-
Story Makers
-
Little Engineers
-
Water, Wind & Wonder
-
World Travelers
-
The Art of Paying Attention
-
How Things Become Something
Each week begins with a story, mystery, or real-world problem that invites children into the experience. Rather than simply giving children activities to complete, we encourage them to ask questions, test ideas, collaborate with peers, and discover solutions through exploration and play.

What Makes Brainforest Summer Camp Different

A Calm and Intentional Environment
We intentionally keep our camp small so every child is truly known, supported, and included. Our mixed-age environment encourages leadership, collaboration, empathy, and confidence while allowing children to learn naturally from one another.

Montessori-Inspired, But Flexible and Joyful
Our camp blends Montessori philosophy with creativity, movement, outdoor exploration, STEM challenges, sensory experiences, art, storytelling, cooking, and collaborative projects. Children are given freedom within structure, allowing them to follow their curiosity while still feeling safe and grounded in a predictable daily rhythm.

Movement and Outdoor Play Are Part of the Day
Children move often throughout camp through obstacle courses, water play, group games, yoga-inspired movement, gardening, outdoor exploration, and cooperative challenges. We believe movement supports focus, confidence, emotional regulation, and joyful learning.

Experiments, Challenges, and Real Thinking
Children are not simply entertained at Brainforest Academy. They are invited to think, wonder, test, build, redesign, and problem-solve. Whether building bridges, experimenting with wind and water, designing inventions, or creating collaborative projects, children experience the joy of meaningful challenge in a supportive environment.

Creativity Without Pressure
We value process over perfection. Campers are encouraged to create freely using open-ended materials and real tools for thinking and making. Some children may leave with projects, while others leave with ideas, discoveries, friendships, and unforgettable memories.

A Strong Focus on Social and Emotional Growth
Summer camp is not only about activities. It is about learning how to navigate friendships, solve problems together, communicate ideas, build confidence, and feel a sense of belonging. Our staff focuses on connection before correction and supports children with warmth, respect, and understanding.

Our Daily Rhythm
Mondays: Wonder Day
We launch the week with mysteries, stories, experiments, and provocations that spark curiosity and imagination.
Tuesdays: Make It Day
Children create, build, invent, paint, design, and bring their ideas to life using a variety of open-ended materials.
Wednesdays: Try It Day
Campers experiment, test, problem-solve, and explore through science, engineering, movement, and hands-on challenges.
Thursdays: Together Day
We focus on collaboration through cooking projects, team builds, cooperative games, and community experiences.
Fridays: Celebration Day
We end each week with joyful outdoor experiences including water play, movement games, music, reflection, and celebrations of the week’s discoveries and creations.
